## Leonardo Pisan

It was the in the year 1170 AD that this great personality, Leonardo Pisan was born in Pisan in the present Italy to the Bonacci family. Leonardo was also known as Fibonacci. Owing to his exposure to a number of cultures as well his special likening for mathematics Fibonacci has solved a number of mathematical problems.

## Fibonacci Numbers

He ended up developing the famous Fibonacci sequence of numbers available in nature. This sequence can be used in a negative progression, despite the fact that it is not basically a mathematical system.

The series is such that the sum of the two numbers that follow each in the series is equal to the number following them in the series. For example in the series 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, the sum of 2 and 3 will give 5 which is the next number following them in the series.

The series begins with one and the sum of one and zero will give one which is the following number in the series. The number following the second one in the series is 2 which is the previous two numbers sum. The series will continue in that manner.

## Fibonacci in Roulette

There is a roulette system known as the "Labouchere Roulette System" otherwise called the cancellation system. This system is like the Fibonacci series. The only difference between the two is that the player has to begin the Labouchere system with empty line.

In the labouchere system a series is also formed just as in the Fibonacci system. A new series will be beginning if the first bet is won. But the series begins when the first bet is lost. One is written down at the end of the sequence line. If the second bet is also lost it will be added to the previous lost at the end of the series.

However, when a bet is won, the previous last two numbers in the series will be cancelled. This is because the sum of the last two lost numbers at the end line of the series is equal to unit of the bet following them. It will be good to demonstrate this with an example.
